Challenge

Distribution operators often manage field devices through fragmented channels, manual spreadsheets, and operator calls. Delayed alarms, manual reconciliation, and scattered device records make it harder to detect issues quickly and document operations consistently.

Solution

MetaEnergy built a four-layer platform covering field data acquisition, central storage, processing services, and an operator web application. The platform supports device communication, alarm detection, secure API integration, flow reconciliation, billing-data synchronization, and audit logging.

Impact & Results

  • In the reference configuration, the platform monitors 300+ field devices with 10-second polling intervals. Automated alarm routing can reduce notification time from hours to seconds, while unified dashboards reduce manual handover and reporting effort.
