Albert Privacy Policy
How MetaEnergy's Albert WhatsApp assistant handles group messages, project materials and its optional Google Drive connection.

MetaEnergy LLC operates Albert for authorized WhatsApp project groups. This policy explains its handling of project information and its optional Google Drive connection, which is currently disabled.
Operator and scope
MetaEnergy LLC, Tbilisi, Georgia, operates Albert. This policy applies to Albert's project-group use and optional Google Drive connection. The website and MetaFlow mobile app have separate privacy policies.
Information Albert receives
Albert can process WhatsApp group messages and participant identifiers, project files and conversation context needed to answer authorized requests. If Drive is enabled, it can receive file names, metadata and contents from the configured folder.
Google permission and folder limit
The broad Google Drive OAuth permission selected for Albert would technically authorize access to every Drive file available to the connected account. Albert's application policy limits file operations to direct files in the configured folder; it does not recursively browse subfolders. This application rule does not narrow the OAuth permission itself.
How information is used
When authorized, Albert can list and search eligible file names, download or export selected files, and use their contents to find relevant information and prepare answers. Downloads may create local project copies and searchable indexes.
AI processing and WhatsApp sharing
Albert may send a question and relevant project or file excerpts to its configured AI provider to prepare an answer. The answer may be displayed in the authorized WhatsApp group, where group members can see it. Google and WhatsApp process data as needed to provide their services.
Local storage and retention
The project environment may retain imported file copies, search indexes, answer and source records, conversation history, optional memory, and audit or business records under operator controls. There is no guaranteed fixed retention period. Revoking Drive access does not guarantee automatic deletion of all previously stored information.
New file uploads
Albert can create a new binary file in the selected Drive folder only after a human administrator reviews and approves that exact upload. This connection does not overwrite or delete existing Drive files.
Credentials and access controls
When enabled, Google OAuth credentials will be held in protected server-side storage. Access and refresh tokens are not included in AI prompts or WhatsApp answers. The connected account holder can revoke the grant, and project and room authorization rules control who can request connected actions.
Your controls and contact
The operator can disable the Drive connection, and the connected Google account holder can revoke Albert's access in Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future Drive access but does not automatically erase previously stored information.
